In recent years Rachel studied for her London College of Music exams under the tutelage of Mary Curtin. She has performed in theatre roles as diverse as they are numerous. She recently played five different roles in Cork Reps production of The Good Doctor and Shakers.
In the past few years alone she has performed roles in A Midsummer Night’s Dream; The Good Sisters; Under Milk Wood; Private Lives; Bar and Ger; Man Of La Mancha; Calendar Girls; The Sunshine Boys, and she has just returned from Serbia where she was performing in Kolectivs production of Death of a Salesman.
In the past 3 years she was awarded Best Actress for her roles in One For The Road, Same Old Moon and Beauty in a Broken Place. She is thrilled and excited to be part of Bryan Flynn’s summer production of Grease.
Rachel would like to dedicate her performance in Grease to her dad, Martin O Connell.
